RepairRated (repairrated.com) helps drivers find car repair shops, read reviews from real repairs, ask for quotes and message shops. It is run by RekonPro, Orlando, Florida, the software the listed shops use. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What we collect

Reviews. Your rating, what you write, the car and the work done. Only customers whose repair a shop finished get a review link. Your review shows your first name and last initial.
Quote requests. Your name, phone, email, ZIP code, car and what it needs.
Messages to a shop. Your name, phone or email, and what you write.
When you browse. Basic technical data any website receives (IP address, browser, pages visited), used to run and protect the site.

We don't collect payment details on RepairRated, and we don't ask for your exact location.

Who sees it

Shops you contact. A quote request goes to up to 5 shops near your ZIP; a shop sees your contact details only when it takes the request. A message goes to that shop, which keeps it in its RekonPro account to answer you and serve your car.
Everyone, for reviews. Published reviews are public, with your first name and last initial.
Service providers that run the site for us: hosting, Cloudflare (network and security), and our email provider. Shop pages show a Google map, loaded from Google.
Shops' ad and analytics tags. A shop can add its own Meta Pixel, Google Analytics or Google Ads tag to its page. Those tags tell Meta or Google that this browser visited the shop's page or asked to book, so the shop can measure and target its ads. Under California law this can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out below.

We don't sell your information for money, and we don't give your contact details to anyone except the shops you contact.

Choose this and the shops' ad and analytics tags won't load on RepairRated in this browser. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it the same way, everywhere those tags appear.

The choice is kept in a cookie on this browser; clearing cookies or using another browser means choosing again. You can also email us.

How long we keep it

Published reviews stay up while the shop is listed. Quote requests and messages are kept as long as needed to connect you with shops and for our records. Ask us any time to delete your data; shops keep their own records of work they did on your car.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (California and other states), you can ask to know what we have about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, or opt out of selling and sharing. Email [email protected] from the email address you used; we answer within 45 days and won't treat you differently for asking. An authorized agent can ask for you with your written permission.

Children

RepairRated is for adults with a car to repair. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
